Artemus June 1998 - June 18th, 2000
Kyra February 1997 - December 15th 1999

Artemus and Kyra found their way to our home at different times. Kyra lost her home because of allergies and was brought to us on February 12th, 1999. Her owner told me she was about 2 years old. She stayed with us for 10 months and died of old age.

Artemus had to be rescued from an abandoned apartment. On July 28th, 1999, we drove to this apartment and found a dirty cage in the middle of a dirty kitchen floor. Inside cowered a frightened, hungry albino rat - Artemus. We took him home, to the vet for neutering and de-parasiting and introduced him to our group. He suffered from respiratory problems all his life and the disease finally won after Artemus had spent almost a year with us.

Artemus and Kyra, we miss you.

Artemus' quirks:

	Shoulder Rat! Dubbed Mäuschen (little mouse)
	Best friend of Kyra and also of Casanunda.
	Very loud breathing rat, due to respiratory illness
	Born runner, never still a minute.
