Shelley, May 1996 - June 3rd, 1998

Shelley was my first rat. She lived with us for a little more than 2 years and then had to be euthanized because of a lung tumor/myco. Shelley listened to the nickname The Amazing Mousini. Shelley's quirks:

	Very clever, lived mostly behind the bookshelves and ate my books.
	Expert stasher. Famour for her almond run-and-stash-athons.
	Rattie ambassador. Winning hearts over her best discipline.
	Very stubborn. Has been known to spend entire nights behind the closet when not in the mood to return to cage.
	Did a Houdini act in my kitchen combination on me once and aged me ten years.
	Fun to play scrabble with. She'd take the scrabble stones hostage.
	Kidnapper and torturer of socks.
	Powergroomer of humans.
	Came with a sixth sense: thought-reading. Could predict when you thought about food.
	Loved to travel in my sleeve.
	Smelled like heaven.
	My favorite rat and companion, she was always with me.
