Verdandi December 26, 2003 - January 6, 2006

Verdandi, the sleekest, fastest rat of the group of 5, is a beautiful beige-white rat with ruby eyes. She is like a wind-up toy. You can cuddle her and she runs away only to return in a split-second. Verdandi led a quiet happy life until today, when she peacefully fell asleep in our arms never to wake up again. She was a lucky rat, only had to get to the vet once (abscess removal), Verdandi loved her food and became quite chubby and squishy. She did scratch a lot and we never found out why, but it did not affect her too much and her skin could be treated. I am sad to see Verdandi leave us but she lives on in my heart. Forever
