Kaboom - August 2005 - September 11, 2007

Kaboom has left us today. My beloved little white fluff gave us the sign that her life on this Earth was coming to an end. She had suffered from inoperable inner tumor and because of them, she started having strong ill-smelling discharge. When it did not get better with the antibiotics, we knew the tumors were the source. She did not have to suffer but crossed the bridge quiet and without stress.

Kaboom leaves behind her sisters Jahimi and Tifi, both old ladies, too. She will be sorely missed by all of us, she was such a friendly, laid back kinda rat, always fond of her food and the main target of Tifi's grooming attacks. She was very lucky, never ill her entire life until the tumors started to grow about a month before her death. We are grateful to have known Kaboom in our lives. She was actually christened Qabas, but somehow this warped into Kaboom, which seemed to be the right name for her. A big, no-nonsense girl she was :)

Kaboom's quirks:

	Relaxed and laid back, a sort of laisser-faire attitude to life.
	Loved loved loved to get belly rubs by Bunny. She would almost transcend into a higher state of zen :)
	Did not pick fights with other rats.
	Really fond of chewing our wallpaper, taught this efficiently to her sister Jahimi.
	Had too much fur in a way, she looked so cuddly.
	Despite her calm appearance, you'd risk losing a finger when not being fast enough to deliver the yoggie drop :)
